The Castleton Festival at the Hylton: Gershwin and Company: An All-American Evening

The Hylton Performing Arts Center proudly presents this performance from the Castleton Festival featuring the esteemed Maestro Lorin Maazel conducting the Castleton Festival Orchestra. The young artists of the Castleton Festival perform “Gershwin and Company: An All-American Evening,” a musical celebration of the American spirit, under the baton of Maestro Maazel. Pianist Kevin Cole joins the orchestra for a riveting performance of George Gershwin’s most popular work, “Rhapsody in Blue.” The Chicago Tribune said, “When Cole sits down at the piano, you would swear Gershwin himself was at work … Cole stands as the best Gershwin pianist in America today.”
