Eyeglasses Frame Thief Sought in Manassas
A man is wanted for stealing eyeglasses frames at various businesses, according to Manassas City Police. But his image was caught on video.
MANASSAS, VA — A man is wanted for stealing several thousand dollars worth of eyeglass frames from businesses throughout the area, according to Manassas City Police. He's described as a black male, approximately 45, 6-0, 180 pounds with short black and gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray suit jacket, blue jeans and a gray cap.
In the most recent incident, the suspect entered May, Hettler & Associates Optometry, 9150 Key Commons Court. He selected several pairs of eyeglass frames from a display case, pocketed them and left without paying for them. Good for the business but bad for him, he was recorded on video surveillance.

Anyone with information is urged to call 703-330-0330 or the attending officer at 703-257-8040. Manassas City Crime Solvers is offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
