Father Charged With Felony Child Neglect In Gainesville: Police
A man allegedly under the influence of prescription medication and alcohol was charged with felony child neglect in Gainesville: PWC Police.

GAINESVILLE, VA—A man allegedly under the influence of prescription medication and alcohol was arrested Tuesday after being found passed out with his two young children in the home, according to Prince William County Police. Christian Thomas Devol, 39, of the 6900 block of Kona Drive in Gainesville, was charged with two counts of felony child neglect.
Around 11 p.m., police arrived at the residence following a request to check on the welfare of two boys, ages 8 and 6, believed to be inside the home. Police found the father asleep in an upstairs bedroom. He's believed to have taken a prescription sleep aid at an area pharmacy before driving to his residence and consuming alcohol. No injuries were reported.
