Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Brings Bold Flavor to Gainesville

Known for its bold flavor, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will open Wednesday, Oct. 22 in Gainesville at Virginia Gateway, 14020 Promenade Commons Street. The polished casual restaurant specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, chicken and ribs seared over a wood fired grill. Gainesville marks the 35th location and sixth in Virginia.

Open for lunch and dinner, Firebirds uses local firewood and a blend of fresh herbs and spices to perfect each menu item. Signature selections include Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Firebirds BLT Salad, Chile Rubbed Delmonico, Wood Grilled Salmon, Lobster Spinach Queso and Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Children can also order from a Kids’ Menu with healthy items approved by the National Restaurant Association Kids LiveWell program.

The 6,970-square-foot restaurant will seat 255 guests and feature an exhibition kitchen, indoor stone fireplace and outdoor patio. The award-winning FIREBAR®, complete with a waterfall of colorful bottles, hosts a selection of Firebirds’ Private Label wines and specialty cocktails like the Double Black Diamond Martini® infused with natural, fresh pineapple for 21 days.

As a proud partner of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, guests are also encouraged to join Firebirds in the fight against childhood cancer. Each time a guest purchases Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Firebirds donates $1 back to the organization.

Firebirds is open Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Half-priced appetizers and drink specials from the FIREBAR® are served from 4 – 7 p.m. at the bar and outdoor patio. The restaurant also offers banquet services, catering and gift cards. Guests can register for Firebirds’ E-Club to receive exclusive offers, promotions and a birthday gift.
