Funds Approved For New Fire Station In Prince William County
The new $10.2 million station is intended to improve response times in the western parts of Prince William County, according to reports.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — The county Board of Supervisors this week approved $10.2 million in funding to construct a new fire and rescue station in western Prince William County, according to reports. The station, which will be at 7500 Century Park Dr. off Balls Ford Road, is slated for May 2021 completion.
The new Fire Station 22 is intended to improve response times in western parts of the county, Potomac Local reports. The 19,000-square foot station will be outfitted with a pumper, rescue unit, collapse unit and an Advanced Life Support ambulance.
The funding approval comes after Prince William officials recently cut the ribbon on another new fire station on Route 234 in Woodbridge. Manassas also is in the process of constructing a new fire station on Dumfries Road near the Prince William Fairgrounds.
