'Funnel Cakes Not Included' at NOVA-Manassas Oct. 8

The Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will host “Funnel Cakes Not Included” Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. in Colgan Theater.

“Funnel Cakes Not Included” is a comedy about severe depression, the power of empathy and the need to erase the stigma attached to mental illness. Presenter Deena Nyer Mendlowitz trained at the Second City Cleveland, the Second City Chicago and Annoyance Theatre in Chicago.
