Furry Little Christmas: Animal Shelter Holds Christmas Event Saturday
Christmas pictures with your pet, pet playtime and a tree lighting included in the shelter's holiday event.
For pet parents who line their walls with stockings filled with milk bones and squeaky toys, The Prince William County Animal Shelter has planned a Christmas event full of fun for the whole family, including your furry little friends.
The animal shelter, 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas, invites Prince William County pets, and their owners, to a tree lighting ceremony Saturday, Dec. 6 from noon to 4 p.m. The event includes a Christmas carol-sing-along starting at 3:30 p.m., the tree lighting at 4 p.m. and other holiday festivities throughout the event.
Pet owners can enjoy cookies and hot chocolate as well as a holiday decoration craft. A photographer will be available to take photos of pets and their owners. Dogs will have play time on the Shelter’s agility equipment and games are set up for owners to play with their pets.
