MANASSAS, VA — A shooting occurred in Gainesville on Wednesday afternoon. The Prince William County Police Department said that one vehicle was struck by gunfire.
One man suffered injuries from a related assault, according to a release. Police did not disclose the extent of his injuries. The shooting occurred in the area of Featherbed Lane and General Trimbles Lane.
