Giant To Offer Same-Day Delivery In NoVA Along With Beer And Wine Deliveries

MANASSAS, VA — Giant Food will now offer same-day delivery in Northern Virginia, the grocery chain announced this week. The new offering is made possible by the company's new fulfillment center in Manassas.

In a news release, Giant Food said the fulfillment center will serve 140 zip codes across the region. The facility will allow the company to offer same-day delivery in as little as three hours, in addition to free deliveries from Tuesday through Thursday.

Gregg Dorazio is the director of e-commerce for Giant Food.

This investment in our newest facility helps us reach even more people with even more convenience," Dorazio said. "We’re truly living up to our promise to be a one-stop shop, giving customers affordable options to shop so they can get back to the moments that matter the most."

The 82,000 square-foot facility will also allow Giant to deliver beer and wine to customers. The chain said they are the first grocer in Virginia to offer alcohol delivery.
