Greater Manassas Christmas Parade Announces Grand Marshal
It's "Lights…Camera…Christmas!" for this year's parade, Dec. 5.
Television legend Ed Asner will be the grand marshal at this year’s Greater Manassas Christmas Parade.
Asner long career in television and film includes playing TV’s Lou Grant on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and Santa in the modern holiday classic, “Elf.” He also provided the voice of Carl Fredricksen in Disney Pixar’s “Up.”
The theme for the 70th annual parade is ”Lights...Camera...Christmas!”

The event will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 5, beginning at Mathis Avenue and continues through Historic Downtown Manassas.
