Home Explosion Injures Worker in Manassas: Fire and Rescue

The construction was taken to an area hospital after the explosion, which apparently was caused by a propane furnace: PWC Fire and Rescue.

MANASSAS, VA — An explosion Tuesday at a home under construction in the 11600 block of Kahns Road injured a worker, according to Prince William County Fire and Rescue.

The construction worker was flown to an area hospital for treatment and further evaluation.

A preliminary investigation found that the explosion occurred when the worker reported for work and activated the home's propane furnace.
