MANASSAS, VA — A homicide occurred in the City of Manassas on Monday afternoon, according to a report from the city's police department. Authorities said the killing was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The homicide occurred in the 8300 block of Magnolia Drive, police said. The incident occured in the early afternoon on Monday, police said.
At 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the City of Manassas Police Department said residents in the area could expect a large police presence as they investigate.
