'Hop Around Downtown' will be held April 9 and April 15 in downtown Manassas. Buy something, select an egg and win a prize of varying forms.
MANASSAS, VA — Not-so-subtle marketing ploy? Sure. But hey, it's nonetheless kind of cool, this twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt.
It's "Hop Around Downtown," 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 9 and April 15 in the, well, downtown area.
Anyone who buys something from a participating merchant will have the opportunity to select an egg from a basket win a prize.
