House Fire Homicide: 2nd Victim Identified by Prince William Police

Second victim was a 36-year-old Manassas area resident, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — Police have released the name of another man involved in a fatal house fire that's being investigated as an arson-related double homicide.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, he was William Alexander Molina-Rivas, 36, of Manassas.

The other victim has been identified as Jose Javier Avalos, 17, of Manassas.

The fire Sunday morning was in the 10300 block of Lomond Drive, near Sudley Road and Stonewall Middle School.

When police arrived at the fire scene, they located two men inside the home. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was flown to an area hospital, where he later died.

Four dogs also died in the fire.
