Human Remains Found In Nokesville: Police

Prince William County Police had been searching for a missing 16-year-old boy when they found the remains.

NOKESVILLE, VA—Prince William County Police and the FBI have located human remains in Nokesville Tuesday.

Police had been investigating the missing person's case of 16-year-old Palmer Marsh when the remains had been found in the woods in the 14800 block of Glenkirk Road around 3 p.m. Police say they weren't able to immediately identify the person due to the condition of the remains. Marsh has been missing from Nokesville since May 2.

The Medical Examiner's Office in Manassas is working to identify and determine the cause of death.

Police do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time. Additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
