Inmate Assaults Guard at Prison in Manassas: Police
Thurman Terrill Weathers was charged with assault and battery on a corrections officer, according to Prince William County Police.
MANASSAS, VA — An inmate who assaulted a prison guard Monday at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center, 9320 Lee Avenue, was arrested the same day, according to Prince William County Police.
Thurman Terrill Weathers, 35 (above), of no fixed address, was charged with assault and battery on a corrections officer.
He's being held where he already was being held without bond.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., police responded to the prison for a report of an assault on a guard and found that Weathers ignored commands from the corrections officer and then pushed him.
No injuries were reported.
