Irate Contractor Defaces Home, Assaults Police In Manassas
An irate contractor defaced a home with spray paint and then later assaulted several cops in Manassas: Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A contractor who defaced a customer's home with spray paint during an argument Saturday and then got into a fight with the customer and another man before he and two others fled in the 7300 block of Rokeby Drive was later arrested before making things much worse on himself, according to Prince William County Police. Namely, while being treated at a local hospital for minor injuries incurred during the fight, he became agitated and assaulted several officers.
Tony Brown, 26, of no fixed address, was charged with one count of robbery, three counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement, two counts of assault and battery, one count of destruction of property and one county of preventing the summoning of law enforcement. Shortly after 5:30 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported fight in progress. The victims, 57 and 21, told police they had contracted with three men to complete some work on their property. But when the contractors arrived, they got into an argument with the customers that escalated. That's when Brown went to work with his can of spray paint, prompting the fight.

When the victims tried to use a cell phone to summon police, Brown took the phone before he and the two other men left in a vehicle. Police found the vehicle shortly thereafter and detained the three occupants. That's when Brown was taken to the hospital, where his legal problems became much worse.
