Jazz In The Park Planned At NOVA Manassas Campus

MANASSAS, VA — Mark your calendars for this year’s Jazz In The Park, planned Sept. 7 on the Northern Virginia Community College Manassas Campus. The event will feature the smooth sounds of jazz performed by artists including headliner Marcus Johnson, Chelsey Green, David Bach Consort and the Rahmat Shabazz Trio.

Jazz in the Park, organized by the Creative and Performing Arts Center, will be held at the Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater, 6901 Sudley Rd. Gates for the event open at 1 p.m. In addition to live music, the event features food and drink vendors.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children and can be purchased at www.jazzintheparkpwc.org.
