MANASSAS, VA — A 1950s-style ice cream shop has opened in downtown Manassas. It's Jitterbugs Ice Cream Cafe, 9125 Center Street. It has a jukebox as well as a soda bar.
Most of the features in the 1,900 square foot business are custom designed, including the ice cream cooler. The ice cream of choice? Gifford's, a family-owned creamery in Skowhegan, Maine.
