“Kids Art Studio at Windy Knoll Farm” Class Offered in Nokesville
Unique opportunity for ages 8 - 14 to enhance creativity, centering, and focus! Tuesdays Apr. 10, 17, 24 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Allow your child to experience the restorative power of creativity with three artists in the studios at Windy Knoll Farm. Each instructor will guide students in making art in a manner that fosters stress reduction, self-expression, and meditation. Lesson one will introduce one-stroke brush painting techniques with artist Jean Seelig. Jean is a renowned Asian Brush painter, retired social worker, and art instructor for children and adults. Lesson two will be presented by fine artist Martin Cervantez, who will share his Meditative Dots painting technique as a gorgeous channel for textural creativity, relaxation, and focus. And lastly, Kimberly Faulkner, certified Creative Arts Therapist, will guide students in making an artistic labyrinth to use in restful stress management. Each student will take away new pieces of art, enhanced confidence, and positive techniques to continue to use in fostering health and wellness. Course fee includes tuition and $15 supply fee.
