Kids Fashion Show for Virginia Tax Free Weekend in Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — In conjunction with Virginia's tax-free weekend, Manassas Mall is holding its annual Back to School Fashion Show 1 p.m. Saturday near the kids play area.

Local residents ages 4-18 will don everything from jeans to prom dresses representing various mall retailers. A DJ will be on hand, as will a prize booth.

During the sales tax holiday period, consumers can purchase qualifying school supplies, clothing and footwear without paying sales tax, according to the Virginia Dept. of Taxation.

Each eligible school supply item must be priced at $20 or less, and each eligible article of clothing and footwear must be priced at $100 or less.
