Kids Under 18 To Get Free Ticket on VRE

On Thursday, VRE will allow school-age children between the ages of 11 and 18 who are accompanied by a paying adult to ride on the commuter trains for free. (Children 10 and under already can ride free every day!)

VRE has strongly supported “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” by allowing school-age children to ride free with their parents that day, and we’re proud to participate again this year.

Kids will have a great introduction to their parents’ work world, and they will get a firsthand look at the advantages of mass transit.
