5 Manassas Schools On Modified Lockdown

Several schools are on a modified lockdown Thursday afternoon, according to Manassas City Public Schools, due to police activity in Georgetown South.

Baldwin Elementary, Dean Elementary, Mayfield Intermediate, Metz Middle and Osbourn High School are in modified lockdown.

"At the request of the police, all students who live in Georgetown South will be held at school until we receive an all clear from the police," according to the statement.

Please note that due to this activity, all other buses may be delayed.
