Man Assaulted By Group After Dierks Bentley Concert In Bristow: Police

Authorities are still investigating an assault that occurred after a Dierks Bentley concert at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow.

BRISTOW, VA — A man was seriously injured in an assault in a Jiffy Lube Live parking lot after a Dierks Bentley concert on Saturday night, the Prince William County Police Department said.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital after the assault. His injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.

Investigators have not announced any arrests in connection with the assault. No suspect description was available on Monday.

The assault occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday night in parking lot C at Jiffy Lube Live, according to the police report. Authorities said the victim had an argument with a group of men that escalated.

The police department said the men threw the victim to the ground and kicked him repeatedly. The men fled before police officers arrived.

The officers found the victim unconscious with injuries to his face, according to the report. They provided first aid until an ambulance took the victim to the hospital.
