MANASSAS, VA — A man exposed himself to children at the Manassas Mall on Friday afternoon, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Authorities said there was no physical contact between the man, who they identified as Jonathan Charles Jowi, and the children.

Jowi is charged with indecent exposure, obscene sexual display, and providing false identification to law enforcement. He was arraigned in court on Monday and a bond hearing is set for Tuesday.

If convicted of all charges, Jowi could face up to three years in prison.

Police were called to the Manassas Mall around 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon for a reported indecent exposure. Security officers at the mall saw a man in the children's area exposing himself and making inappropriate gestures related to masturbation, according to authorities. The man left the mall before the police officers arrived.

Officers located the man, who they later identified as Jowi, nearby. Jowi provided false identifying information to officers before he was arrested, according to the police report.

On Oct. 6, Jowi was arrested and charged in a separate indecent exposure incident. He was released on recognizance on Thursday, one day before the incident at the mall.
