Man Repeatedly Attacked In Manassas Hotel: Police
A man was arrested Tuesday after attacking an acquaintance in a Manassas hotel and preventing him from calling for help: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested Tuesday after attacking an acquaintance in a Wyndham Garden hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane and preventing him from calling for help, according to Prince William County Police. Khoran Zeine Pope, 25, of the 200 block of Diamond Drive in Walkersville, Md., was charged with malicious wounding and preventing the summoning of a law enforcement officer.
Around 5:45 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported assault. They found that Pope and the victim, 33, had been involved in an argument that escalated. When Pope began assaulting him, the victim tried to call police but Pope snatched it away. The victim then tried to flee but Pope chased him down in the hallway and continued assaulting him.
They eventually separated, and police arrived. Minor injuries were reported.
