Man Snaps, Stabs Family Member In Manassas: Police

For reasons perhaps known only to him, a man inexplicably stabbed a family member Monday in Manassas, according to PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—For reasons perhaps known only to him, a man inexplicably stabbed a family member early Monday in the 13100 block of Trails End Court, according to Prince William County Police. Brandon Michael Whitcher, 20, of the same address, was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with malicious wounding.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported domestic dispute. They found that Whitcher and a 23-year-old man were in the home when, seemingly out of nowhere, Whitcher whipped out a knife and stabbed the man in the hand.

The man, later taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, then took the knife away from Whitcher and called the cops.
