Man Sought For Texting Threats In Manassas: Police

Authorities are looking for a man who threatened a woman and her family with violence via text messages Monday morning: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who threatened a woman and her family with violence via text messages early Monday morning, according to Prince William County Police. Marvin Alexander Portillo Trejo, 30, of the 400 block of North Kenwood Avenue in Baltimore, is wanted on two charges of threats to harm over an electronic device.

Around 4:15 a.m., police went to a home in Manassas for a reported threat. The woman, 23, said she had received several threatening text messages from Trejo, an acquaintance. The messages "suggested an act of violence against the victim and her family."

After an investigation, police obtained arrest warrants for Trejo. Attempts to locate him have failed, and anyone with information is urged to call Prince William County Police at 703-792-6500.
