Man Stabbed Amid Murky Circumstances In Manassas: Police

A man was found stabbed early Sunday amid murky circumstances at a residence in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—A man was found stabbed early Sunday in the 10500 block of Lariat Lane, according to Prince William County Police. The 36-year-old victim, whose name wasn't released, refused medical treatment and later was arrested after being found to be wanted out of Prince William County for failing to appear (in court).

Shortly after midnight, police arrived at the aforementioned area for a reported stabbing. They found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. After being arrested and taken to jail, he consented to medical treatment and eventually was taken to a local hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police eventually determined he had been involved in an argument with an acquaintance that escalated, during which he was stabbed. Authorities say the incident doesn't appear to be random. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
