Man Steals Peepholes From Manassas Hotel Rooms: Police

An Arizona man was arrested Saturday after removing peep holes from rooms at the Wyndham Garden hotel in Manassas: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—An Arizona man was arrested early Saturday after removing peep holes from several occupied rooms in the Wyndham Garden hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Miles Jay Payne, 32, of the 11800 block of North Cotswold Lane in Coolidge, AZ, was charged with three counts of peeping into a dwelling or enclosure, two counts of unlawful enclosure, one count of destruction of property and one count of a scheduled I or II narcotic.

Shortly after 3:15 a.m., police responded to the hotel for a reported disorderly person. Employees said an unknown man had damaged several doors and removed the peepholes. They investigated, nabbed him on the fourth floor of an unoccupied room and found methamphetamine in his pocket after his arrest.
