Man Strangles Woman In Manassas: Police
A man is being held without bond after strangling a female acquaintance Monday in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A man is being held without bond after strangling a female acquaintance Monday in the 7600 block of Shelly Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Jose Angel Quinteros Acosta, 27, of the aforementioned address, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m., police went to the scene for a reported assault. The found that Acosta and the woman had been involved in an argument that escalated. During what became a fight, he pushed her onto a couch, grabbed her throat and began choking her. They eventually separated and police were contacted.
