Man Wanted In Rape, Abduction Of Woman In Manassas: Police
Prince William County police are searching for Curtis Lucas Brown Jr., who faces multiple charges in an Aug. 19 sexual assault.

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County police are searching for a 45-year-old man accused of raping and injuring a woman in a wooded area in Manassas.
Curtis Lucas Brown Jr., 45, of no fixed address, is wanted in connection with the Aug. 19 assault, which was reported shortly before 11 p.m. in the 8300 block of Sudley Road, police said.
Investigators said the 39-year-old victim and Brown knew one another. The woman was sexually assaulted in a wooded area before she was able to get away from Brown and report the incident to police, according to authorities.

The woman sustained injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police did not provide additional information about her condition.
Following an investigation, detectives obtained warrants charging Brown with one count each of rape, abduction with intent to defile, object sexual penetration and assault and battery, as well as two counts of strangulation.

Attempts to locate Brown have been unsuccessful, police said.
Brown is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said the photo released with the alert was taken in January.
