Update: Photo Of Indecent Exposure Suspect In Manassas Released By Police

Authorities are looking for a man who, on two separate occasions, asked for directions before exposing himself to women on Wednesday.

MANASSAS, VA — An unknown man exposed himself to two women in separate incidents in Manassas on Thursday evening, according to the Prince William County Police Department. In both instances, the man asked for directions before exposing himself, authorities said.

The first incident was reported to police around 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 22 at the Stratford Condos on Winstead Place in Manassas. A victim, a 62-year-old woman, told police that she was walking from her car to her residence when she was approached by an unknown man.

At first, the man asked the victim for directions, police said. Then he exposed himself, according to the police report. When the man walked away, the victim called the authorities.

While officers were responding to the first incident, a caller reported that a man had just exposed himself to her.

The second victim, a 60-year-old woman, said she was taking groceries into her home near Flager Circle and Campaign Court when an unknown man approached her. Again, the man initially asked for directions, police reported.

The man then exposed himself to her. He fled the area on foot when the victim yelled, according to the police report.

The same description was provided by both victims. Officers were not able to locate the suspect, authorities said. No contact was made with either victim during the incidents.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with curly brown hair in his late 20s. He is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds with a thin build. He had an unshaven face, police said.

At the time of the exposure incidents, the suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt and faded blue jeans.
