Man, Woman Go To Manassas Area Hospital With Stab Wounds: Police

A man and a woman showed up at a Manassas area hospital Thursday night with stab wounds, the Prince William County police said.

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County Police Department officers went to a hospital in the Manassas area Thursday night to investigate a stabbing, which the police believe occurred in the area of the Coverstone Apartments in Manassas.

At the hospital, officers met with a 35-year-old woman at the hospital who had a significant laceration to her arm. The woman refused to cooperate with police about how the injury occurred other than to say she had attempted to break up a fight in a parking lot in the Cornerstone Apartments in the 10900 block of Coverstone Drive, the police department said.

While attempting to get additional information from the woman, a 35-year-old man entered the same hospital for treatment of a laceration to his hand. The police said the man also refused to cooperate.
