Manassas 19-Year-Old Shot Another Teen Over Argument After Sale: Police
Oscar Ivan Meijia Bonilla, 19, of Manassas, is facing multiple charges connected to a shooting on Tuesday night.
MANASSAS, VA – A 19-year-old man from Manassas has been arrested in connection with a reported armed robbery and shooting Tuesday evening in Manassas. An 18-year-old has been identified as the victim in the incident.
According to Prince William County police, officers responded to the 11000 block of Folksie Court in Manassas around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday evening to investigate a shooting.
They found an 18-year-old with life-threatening injuries. Police say the man had arranged to meet an acquaintance to conduct some kind of sale, but after money was exchanged, the two got into an argument. Police say the suspect shot the 18-year-old in the upper body.

The victim was taken to a hospital. The suspect was detained by officers shortly after. He has been identified as Oscar Ivan Meijia Bonilla, 19, of Manassas. Meijia Bonilla was arrested Tuesday night and is charged with aggravated malicious wounding, robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. His next court appearances are not yet scheduled.
