Manassas 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect Identified By Police
Prince William County police identified a suspect in connection with the Jan. 12 robbery of a 7-Eleven on Sudley Road in Manassas.

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County police identified a suspect in connection with the Jan. 12 robbery of a 7-Eleven on Sudley Road in Manassas. The police said they obtained arrest warrants for Bejamin Leonard Russell, 57, of Falls Church.
On Jan. 12 at 2:20 a.m., Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 7113 Sudley Rd. to investigate the robbery. A store employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the store. He then walked behind the counter and approached the employee.
During the encounter, the suspect implied he was armed and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

On Feb. 19, detectives with the police department's robbery unit obtained additional information that identified Russell as a suspect. Russell is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for armed robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
