On Friday, the weather in the Manassas area is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 71 degrees. On Saturday, forecasters are calling for a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. in the area, with a high near 75 degrees. More of the same is expected on Sunday, with a 30 percent chance of showers and a high of 71 degrees. On Columbus Day, forecasters say there is a 40 percent chance of showers and a high temperature of 68 degrees.

Yankey Farms

Season opening/closing dates: Sept. 26-Oct. 31
Attractions: Yankey Farm's pick-your-own pumpkin patch will open for the 2020 season on Sept. 26. Picking will be by appointment-only due to the coronavirus crisis.
Hours: Sundays 12 p.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Mondays 12 p.m.-6 p.m.

Messick's Farm Market

Attractions: Pumpkin Patch and Scooby Corn Maze, slides, petting zoo.
