Man, Woman Injured In Weekend Stabbing Incident: Police
A man and a woman who were arguing in Manassas early Saturday morning were injured in a stabbing incident, according to police.
MANASSAS, VA — A man and a woman who were arguing in Manassas early Saturday morning were taken to a local hospital after suffering injuries in a stabbing incident that involved a 14-year-old male, according to the City of Manassas Police Department. The man sustained life-threatening injuries and the woman is expected to recover, the police said.
At about 1 a.m. Saturday, Manassas police officers went to the 10000 block of Barrington Park Circle for a report of a stabbing. The investigation revealed the man and woman were involved in an argument and then "the suspect intervened resulting in both victims being stabbed," the Manassas police said.
The man and woman were flown in a helicopter to an area hospital. Local residents reported early Saturday morning hearing a helicopter in the area, with one resident seeing a helicopter land in the Giant Food parking lot in the 10100 block of Dumfries Road.

The juvenile, from Manassas, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and taken into custody, the police said.
