Manassas Brawl Suspect Arrested: Police
Two people were injured during the July fight near Coverstone Drive and Aaron Lane, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas man has been arrested for his alleged role in a July 22 brawl that left two people injured, according to Prince William County Police.
Joshua Lee Jackson, 18, of the 7900 block of Manassas Drive, was charged with strangulation, malicious wounding, assault by mob and domestic assualt and battery.
When police arrived to the scene in the area of Coverstone Drive and Aaron Lane, they located two victims, a 32-year-old woman of Manassas and 31-year-old man of Culpeper, who reported they were involved in a argument with several acquaintances that escalated.

The suspects began assaulting the male victim, according to police. When the female victim attempted to intervene, she was allegedly choked, causing her to lose consciousness. At some point, the female victim was also cut on the hand, causing a deep laceration, according to police.
The suspects fled before police arrived, and the victims were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
