Manassas Chick-Fil-A Will Temporarily Close This Summer For Expansion
The Chick-Fil-A on Liberia Avenue in Manassas will close in May to undergo construction to add another drive-thru lane and a larger kitchen.

MANASSAS, VA — The Chick-Fil-A on Liberia Avenue will close in May for renovations. The restaurant plans to reopen in August, according to the a report from the city's economic development authority.
The renovations will see the restaurant expand. The Chick-Fil-A will get an additional drive-thru lane, a larger kitchen, an interior remodel, and canopies for drive-thru staff. The expansion will also allow the restaurant to offer catering services.
"Our business has grown substantially along with the City to the point where we’ve outgrown the building’s original layout,” owner George Snyder said in a news release. “This expansion will significantly improve our customer and team member experience and allow us to explore new lines of business."

The city's economic development authority said the Liberia Avenue Chick-Fil-A location has been the busiest restaurant in the city since it opened in 2004. In a news release, authorities said the location is the city's top meal tax payer, handling more than 2,000 customers per day.
“We can’t wait to complete the work, bring back our Chick-fil-A team, and start serving the wonderful Manassas community again!” Snyder said.
