Manassas Distillery Extends Tasting Room Hours

MANASSAS, VA — KO Distilling has extended its tasting room hours as the popular Manassas distillery works to meet the demand from its customers during the coronavirus crisis. Reservations are still preferred to visit the tasting room and can be made through OpenTable, the distillery said.

The extended tasting room hours are:

• Thursday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, noon to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

KO Distilling also said that containers of its Bare Knuckle Hand Sanitizer are still available. One 5-gallon container of sanitizer costs $135, with quantity discounts available.

KO Distilling completed the retooling of its equipment in April to allow the production of its Bare Knuckle Hand Sanitizer. KO Distilling distills the ethanol used in Bare Knuckle Hand Sanitizer onsite. The distillery does not use methanol in any of its products. The sanitizer is made with an FDA-compliant formula, KO Distilling said.

Meanwhile, KO Distilling customers also can still order Battle Standard 142 Gins and Bare Knuckle Whiskeys online, including specialty whiskeys like its Bare Knuckle Single Barrel Bourbon. Orders can be placed for shipping (Virginia only) or curbside pickup.
