Manassas Hosts Local Artist Exhibition
Artists from Creative Brush Studio will exhibit paintings and drawings from now until January 27 at The Hall.
From Creative Brush Studio: Today through Jan. 27, art students from Creative Brush Studio will exhibit their work in The Hall at City Hall. The exhibit is open to the public Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.and is free.
The students, all adult artists and one 14-year-old, are showcasing their favorite paintings including portraits, local scenes and faraway places. The students used oil paint to capture their life-like images. Mary Reilly, their instructor, is a local artist and owner of Creative Brush Studio on Center Street in Manassas. Her paintings hang in such places as the U.S. Court of Veteran Appeals, the University of Virginia and the Washington Hospital Center among other places.
Exhibits in The Hall at City Hall rotate on a monthly basis and include different forms of visual art. For more information about art in the City of Manassas, visit www.manassascity.org/art.
