Manassas Man Arrested After Police Chase From Fauquier To Haymarket
A man from Manassas faces several charges after police chased him from Fauquier County to Haymarket on Tuesday morning, police said.
MANASSAS, VA — A police chase that began in Fauquier County ended in Haymarket on Tuesday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Police identified the driver who led the chase as Christopher Miles Froney, a 29-year-old from Manassas.
Prince William County officers learned of the chase around 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning. At that time, the chase that began in Fauquier was in Haymarket.
Police said the driver fled in the area near the 6700 block of Market Street. There, the suspect's vehicle struck multiple occupied police cars, according to the police report.

Officers were able to stop the vehicle before it left the area, authorities said. They took the driver into custody without further incident.
Froney is charged with two counts of hit and run, three counts of malicious wounding to a law enforcement officer, one count of assault on a law enforcement officer, and one count of hit and run resulting in injury.

He is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 23, 2022.
