Manassas Man Arrested For Starting Fires In City
A Manassas resident was arrested and charged with "maliciously starting" three fires in the city going back to last April.
MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas resident was arrested and charged with "maliciously starting" three fires in the city going back to last April, according to the City of Manassas Fire Marshal Office. The man who was arrested Wednesday is being held at the Prince William Adult Detention Center with no bond.
The man was charged with two counts of setting fire to woods, fences or grass and one count of burning or destroying personal property.
The City of Manassas Fire Marshal and the Manassas Police Department had not responded to requests for the name of the suspect who was arrested for allegedly starting the fires at the time this article was published.
