Manassas Park Crash Into Home Kills 1 Person: Police
Police say a home was unoccupied when a car crashed into it, causing one fatality and two injuries.
MANASSAS PARK, VA — A home was struck by a vehicle in a crash Saturday night in Manassas Park, according to city police.
The crash happened around 8:42 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Manassas Drive. City of Manassas Park Police say the vehicle left the road, rolled over and hit the home. One of the vehicle occupants was pronounced dead at the scene. The person's identity has not been publicly released.
Police say the driver was not wearing a seat belt. Two passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and have been released.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
Police continue to investigate on what led to the crash. City of Manassas Park Police requested assistance from the Prince William County Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit. Speed is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
