Manassas Police Investigate Shooting Of 2 Boys In Parked Car
Two boys were shot Monday night on the same block where a 24-year-old Manassas man was fatally stabbed in November 2017.
MANASSAS, VA — Two boys were shot while sitting in a parked car in Manassas Monday night, the Manassas City Police Department said Tuesday. The two juvenile males were treated at a local hospital for serious injuries and are expected to recover from their gunshots.
At just after 8:15 p.m. on Monday, Manassas City Police Department officers responded to the 9700 block of Bragg Lane for a report of a shooting. The investigation found that two suspects confronted the victims while they were sitting inside the car parked in the area.
The suspects fled the area after the shooting and prior to the police arriving at the scene. The Manassas City police said its investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

The area has seen other violent crime in recent years. In November 2017, two Baltimore brothers were arrested for the fatal stabbing of Elvin Ulises Reyes-Reyes, 24, of Manassas, in the 9700 block of Bragg Lane.
