3 Arrested, 6 Massage Parlors Shut Down In Manassas Prostitution Bust
A multi-jurisdictional anti-prostitution operation has resulted in three arrests and the closure of several massage businesses.
MANASSAS, VA – Manassas police announced three arrests and the seizure of hundreds of thousands of dollars in a major operation against alleged prostitution in the city.
According to the Manassas Police Department, six massage businesses were shut down and three people were charged with prostitution-related offenses as a result of what the department called Operation False Front, executed on Tuesday.
The department also says several human trafficking victims were found during the operation, which originated with a Crime Solvers tip.

According to MPD, Yanzhi Mei, 44, of Prince William County, is charged with two counts of keeping a bawdy place, two counts of aiding prostitution, one count of prostitution and one count of sexual battery. She is being held on a $2,000 secured bond.
Additionally, Yanwu Glick, 65, of Fairfax County, is facing three counts of keeping a bawdy place and three counts of aiding prostitution and is being held without bond.

Finally, Stephen Smarr, 60, of Manassas City, is facing three counts of keeping a bawdy place and three counts of aiding prostitution and is being held on a $3,000 secured bond.
The following businesses have been shut down by the City of Manassas Fire Marshal’s Office:
- 7 Star Spa — 8622 Centreville Rd.
- White Moon Spa — 8645 Mathis Ave., Suite 202
- Oriental Massage — 8647 Mathis Ave., Suite 101
- Oriental Massage Therapy — 8701 Digges Rd., Suite B
- The Massage Dragon — 9384 Forestwood Ln.
- Manassas Massage Therapy — 9548 Surveyor Ct.

MPD says Prince William County Police; Manassas Park Police; Fairfax County Police; Virginia State Police; Homeland Security Investigations; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and the City of Manassas Fire Marshal’s Office were involved in the operation.
