Manassas Resident Dies In Crash After Vehicle Hits Tree: Police
A 29-year-old Manassas resident died early Monday morning when the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and hit a tree.
MANASSAS, VA โ A 29-year-old Manassas resident died early Monday morning when the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and hit a tree near the intersection of Ashton Avenue and Rolling Road, according to the Manassas City Police Department.
At around 1:40 a.m., police officers went to the intersection for a report of a traffic accident. Their investigation revealed that a 2004 Saturn ran off the road into the grass median and hit a tree.
The driver, identified as Derek Scott Lett of Manassas, was pronounced dead at the scene by rescue personnel, the police said.
