Manassas Store Robbed By Man With Scarf Over His Face: Police

A suspect in the armed robbery of a Manassas beauty supply store took an undisclosed amount of money.

MANASSAS, VA — The Prince William County Police Department is looking for a man who was wearing a black scarf over his face when he allegedly robbed a store Tuesday afternoon in Manassas. The man fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported during the armed robbery, the police said.

Officers responded to the Sally Beauty Supply store at 8395 Sudley Rd. at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday to investigate the robbery. A store employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. During the encounter, the suspect implied he was armed and demanded money.

Upon leaving the store, the suspect fled on foot in the direction of Irongate Way.

The suspect is describe a Hispanic male, five-feet six-inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. He is about 20 years old, with a thin build, the police said. The suspect was last seen wearing gray North Face windbreaker pants, gray hooded sweatshirt with black writing on the front and a black scarf covering his face.
