Weems Elementary School students along with Manassas residents got together and filmed the city's take on the Harlem Shake, a dance craze that has taken over YouTube and other social media sites.

Plans are in the works to send a copy of the Manassas Harlem Shake video to Ellen in California, city officials said.

The show flew Weems Principal Angela Burnett out to Los Angeles to appear on an episode of the show that aired on April 30.

The episode featured a surprise live shot of cheering students and staff back at Weems.
